Site news: Keep readers informed of new Blog Peoria member posts and comments

I am very, very excited about two new widgets that every single Blog Peoria Project member blogger can use. Global Recent Posts widget works like the “recent posts” widget many of you already use. But it displays recent posts from every single Blog Peoria Project blog. Global Recent Comments widget does the same thing as “recent comments,” but displays comments made throughout the entire Blog Peoria Project site. This is networked blogging in action, folks. All you need to is go to Appearance >> Widgets and drag them into your sidebar. Both of them are highly configurable (you can chose to display avatars or not to display them, for instance). Remember to save your settings.
