Site migration is now complete and no site issues remain (that I know of)
It took some time, some trouble tickets and some cussin,’ but the move to the new host is complete.
I am not now aware of any site that has issues with error messages or missing pictures. The issues were caused by what was described to me as a permissions issue on the Apache server and later on the need to change rewrite rules on an .htaccess file. Both have been resolved.
Simple solutions, really, but difficult because no one thought to do them.
Anyway, I wanted to make a post that tells users and potential users the specifications of this site. Our new host is a company called WPWebhost. We are using the “Buddy Plan,” which is designed for WordPress Multi-User sites like this.

The size of this site of far, far, far less and my monthly transfer rates does not approach this.
And yes, I do intent to re-install Buddy Press. But this is after I additional optimize this size to speed up up and reduce server load.
And cost of this site is not an issue. It’s not a VPN, which could be costly.
