Two men were the victims of an armed robbery at about 9:06 p.m. Monday night, Peoria Police report.
Ryan Greenwood, 22, of 2101 N. Bigelow, and Daniel Hightower, 23, of 4030 W. Brighton, Apt. 9, told police they were entering the Greenbriar Apartments to visit their girlfriends, when they were accosted by a man with a handgun who demanded money.
A witness heard the demands and started yelling for the police, and the two victims fled.
Police searched the area, but could not find the suspect.
