Mower cuts off Peoria woman’s toes
April 4, 2012 – 10:34 am | by Billy DennisA woman cut off three of her toes while mowing her lawn, police said.
Lavonda M. Baugh, 31, was mowing her yard at 1034 S. Tonti Circle, when she kicked the side of the mower in trying to dislodge something stuck underneath. Her foot slipped underneath the mower and three of her toes and the top of her foot were sliced off.
Police searched the yard, but could not find the missing toes. The police report did not state whether the toes were cut from her right foot, or her left.
She was taken to OSF Medical Center for treatment.
