Two women arguing over a baby dady lead to accusations of one of the women getting hit with a car at about 5:45 p.m. Thursday.
Alesha Johnson, 24, of 3014 W. Garden, said she encountered Sharicka L. Thomas, 28, of 1904 N. Lehman Road, in the parking lot of Aldi’s grocery, 210 S. Western. Johnson said Thomas tried to hit her with her car, which she managed to do, but not before Johnson managed to yank off a window wiper.
Thomas told police she was in her car talking to a friend in another car when Johnson approached and started an argument. Johnson grabbed Thomas’s hair and started to pull out her weave. Johnson held on as Thomas started to drive in circles to get Johnson to let go. Johnson then fell onto Thomas’s car, and bounced off.
Both women ended up at Boost Mobile on Western, where John W. Sims, 43, 2208 W. Millman, works. Sims if the father of Thomas’s child. Sims had to separate the two from fighting at that location.
Both women produced witnesses, who backed up their respective stories.
Police declined to make any arrests, but the incident was turned over to the state’s attorney for review.
