May 26, 2012 – 10:19 am | by witchsbrewI’m delighted to she spoke up because I have heard those same crickets when I talk about supporting Pagan businesses–and I don’t mean Pagan gift shops or Etsy vendors, Reiki healers, musicians, or costume makers. I get a weird vibe when I talk about supporting Pagan beauticians, plumbers, dog groomers, florists, etc. And I do understand…
For one thing, there are very few Pagans of my acquaintance who actually own a business, large or small. And I understand the danger of being “outed”. I dare say there are a fair number of people in the Heart of Illinois who might not want a known Pagan laying carpet in their home or driving the kids’ school bus, yada, yada… And the Pagan community is widely dispersed throughout Central Illinois…
