Why blogging is so much better than Facebook or Twitter

You all don’t realize how painful this is. I hate the sound of my voice.

Don’t be so hard on yourself, Billy. Your voice isn’t bad. You may not sound like a 70s FM DJ, but you’re understandable. Enjoy your new toy.
Here’s a piece you might enjoy. It’s by Corey Robin, the author of the excellent The Reactionary Mind. The piece deals with workplace coercion of free speech, he uses the example of a journalist. Don’t read too much into the title. As for the subject you discussed, I always feel bad for the ‘Mop boy” who has to clean up the mess. How do you explain that job on your resume?

Watched about 30 seconds. Like what you’re doing. I’ll watch the whole thing soon.
Meanwhile… it’ll be great if you would bring the audio up a little. Let the level indicator go into the red more (if you have such a thing). Doesn’t hurt to go over.
Too much noise right here to listen well.
To repeat… this is a great idea, and to add… you look fine and sound fine on camera.

And, Billy, EVERYONE hates the sound of their own voice. It takes a while to accept it.
