CASE NO. ZC 13-01B
PUBLIC HEARING on the request of Ken Hinton, Executive Director for George Washington Carver Community Center, to amend an existing Special Use, Ordinance No. 13,251, for an expansion of a non-conforming Community Center in a Class R-4 (Single Family Residential) District at 710 W. Third Street (also known as lots 8-12 in block 3 of Rigg’s Addition, parcel index numbers 18-08-282 016), (Council District 1) to:
1) Add parcels to the existing Special Use: the East portion of lot 7, and lots 1 and 2 in block 3 of Rigg’s Addition (parcel index numbers 18-08-282-015, 18-08-282-031, 18-08-282-032, and 18-08-282-033).
2) Rezone property located at: East portion of lot 7, lots 8-12, center of lots 1 + 2 in block 3 of Rigg’s Addition (parcel index numbers 18-08-282-015, 18-08-282-016, and 18-08-282-032), from R-4 (Single Family Residential) District to CN (Neighborhood Commercial) District.
3) Allow a Farmer’s Market as a Special Use in a CN, Neighborhood Commercial District for the East
portion of lot 7, lots 8-12 and lots 1 and 2 in block 3 of Rigg’s Addition (parcel index numbers 18-08-
282-015, 18-08-282-016, 18-08-282-031, 18-08-282-032, and 18-08-282-033).

PUBLIC HEARING on the request of Robert Hall of Miller, Hall, and Triggs, LLC, to amend the existing Special Use, Ordinance No. 13,391, as amended through 16,787, for a Shopping Center, in a Class C-2 (Large Scale Commercial) District, to allow a restaurant with drive, amend the landscape plan and signage at 2515, 2601, 2701 W. Lake Avenue, and 4221 N. Sterling Avenue, (parcel index numbers 14-30-126-001, 14-30-126-005 and 14-30-127-001) commonly known as West Lake Shopping Center
(Council District 4).

PUBLIC HEARING on the request of Will Kenny, Director of Operations for Peoria Civic Center, to amend the Special Use, Ordinance 15,740, for the Peoria Civic Center existing facilities; and the proposed exhibit hall expansion, parking lot addition and miscellaneous site revisions, which supersedes previous approvals, in a Class B-1 (Central Business) District, for changes related to the theatre drop off area, refuse screening, landscaping plan, and the parking lot plan, at 201 SW Jefferson Street, 702 and 720 Fulton Street; and 109,125,129 and 135 SW Monroe Street, (parcel index numbers 18-09-251-009, 18-09- 133-013, and 18-09-202 001 – 005) commonly known as the Civic Center (Council District 1).

PUBLIC HEARING on the request of Ross Beyer of Kroger LTD Partnership, to amend the existing Special Use, Ordinance No. 11,740, as amended through 16,066, for a Shopping Center and a controlled thoroughfare overlay district, in a Class C-2 (Large Scale Commercial) District, to allow a fueling station at 2415 W. Richwoods Boulevard; and 3101, 3203, 3311, and 3335 N.
