Membership Signup

This is our membership sign-up page. Click the appropriate button, where you will be taken to a PayPal page where you can subscribe to The Blog Peoria Project. (Note: Buttons for UPGRADING from an existing account  are further down).

Membership gives you access to all news coverage, Peoria Pundit posts, various pages (including our new events calender)  and the ability to post comment on entries. Non-members will still have access to comics and weather, links to sites like Illinois Statehouse News, Capitol Fax and AlterNet, and regular updates from other Blog Peoria Project blogs.

After you subscribe, you will be sent to a standard WordPress sign-up screen to register as a member. Only those people who have PAID for membership will go to this page. Once you are a member, you can sign-in from any computer at any location.

First up, there is a monthly membership plan. The first month is JUST $1 and, after that, you will be charged $3 per month (that amount will deducted from your PayPal account or your credit/debit card). You will need either a PayPal account OR any standard credit/debit card from Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover.

Compare that price to the $6.99 per month charged to view the Peoria Journal Star online.

Don’t want to pay monthly? Fine. There’s yearly membership plan that lets you sign up for $30 a year:

Users also have the option of signing up for sponsoring membership. Sign up, and you get the same great access, but you will be charged $60 for a 125×125 or a 180×150 graphic ad that supports The Blog Peoria Project. You will be contacted soon after sign up for details.

Too rich for your blood? OK, here’s sponsoring membership plan 2 plan that charges you $30 the first month to pay for the ad, then dings your account $3 a month.

UPGRADING FROM AN EXISTING ACCOUNT

Have you been a member for years, but NOW cannot read certain posts? Sorry, you’ve got to upgrade.

This lets you sign up for the $1 first month/$30 each succeeding month plan:
